アメリカ/サンフランシスコのフィルモアイーストで1971年の3月5日から7日までの3日間行われたアレサ・フランクリンのライブで、アレサ・フランクリンのバックバンドだったキング・カーティス率いるザ・キングピンズが、アレサ抜きで前座を務めました。そのライブの模様はARETHA FRANKLIN「LIVE ATFILLMORE WEST」と、KING CURTIS 「LIVE AT FILLMORE WEST」という2枚のアルバムでリリースされました。その１枚がこちら。
